CONVERT FIBERGLASS Tub to Walk-in Shower

This tub conversion to a walk-in shower is designed to help you live independently longer in the comfort of your own home!

Conversion Surface:
Only fiberglass tubs to walk-in shower

Conversion Styles:
Preparing for use of a Shower curtain or shower doors (NOTE: curtain and doors are not provided)

Conversion Process:

Custom cut the front side of the fiberglass tub/shower for either a 'shower curtain opening' or a 'shower door' installation, as shown in the photos above.
Fill the hollow area created by the custom cut, with wood and foam fill to provide strength.
Cover the opening with existing fiberglass and resin.
Finish by spraying the reconstructed area with color acrylic polyurethane coating to match the existing tub.
Your converted shower is ready to use after you allow a 48-hour cure time for the area to dry!

Conversion Time Required (estimated):
5-7 hours for a shower curtain. The conversion for shower doors requires us to finish on the second day.
